Erasmus + partnership project, Community Champion Training Programme creating NVQ level 3 training to improve skills for working with disadvantage groups.
The aims of this project are to develop a common framework for training through meticulous consultation and planning with third sector stakeholders in order to address the aforementioned skills gaps. Secondly, to design and implement a prototype training package in a digital form that will incorporate vocational learning techniques to improve accessibility to training materials and access to best-practice in the field. Thirdly, to provide standardisation and quality control through external scrutiny and accreditation of content, learning outcomes and level of learning in order to best meet the needs of staff working in the third sector. Fourthly, to involve stakeholders in evaluation of the prototype training programme’s implementation in order to identify and correct any shortcomings that occur.
